So you are not sure about buying your Herd Guards, how about leasing them instead.
Herd Guard background.
As a general rule the herd guards will be with your sheep for about 12 weeks, 2 weeks before lambing to get to know the boundaries and the herd and 10 weeks after, thats when they do the real work.
We recommend you run at least 2 Guards per 300 sheep on 30 flat acres.
if you have hills, and or creek / native vegetation boundaries we recommend you increase those numbers.
A special note .. Herd Guards will not :
Protect against packs of dogs
Leasing advantages,
We will deliver and pickup your guards
We look after shearing and drenching e.t.c.
Buying advantages
You have full control over when you use them and where.
So have a think, we can also offer White or Coloured.
This is becoming popular, numbers are limited so booking is advised.
